Daniel is transformed

Confounded by Daniel's extreme fussiness and obvious discomfort, we sought the expertise of a Gastroenterologist. They quickly diagnosed Daniel with...Acid Reflux. Yes, heartburn. After trying some different drugs, Prevacid seems to have curred him of the painful refluxing. He still refluxes, ( and manages to bathe me in milk daily) but the mediacation makes it less painful and damaging to his throat. Now that he is comfortable, what a change!

He is rewarding us constantly with smiles, giggles and fits of noises that I can only describe as 'Roars'. He is a very happy baby now and that is making life easier for everyone. Not easy, but easier ;) The one downside is that he's stopped sleeping through the night. We think that the painful reflux was exhausting him during the day which lead to his 6-8 hour sleeps. Now that he's taking more daytime naps....the midnight feedings are back.

This happy little guy is changing every day. And as you might tell from these pictures, he's charming everyone he meets.
